Alberto Longo's passion for computers was born with videogames in early 1980s. His first computer was the Commodore 64, on which he learnt programming in BASIC and machine code. After owning a Commodore 128, he bought an Amiga 500 and then an Amiga 1200.
In 1993, Alberto Longo established Amiga development team Virtual Dreams. He was the main coder, graphic artist and project co-ordinator for their first (shareware) release in 1994, a PROJECT-X clone called T-RACER. Following that he morphed Virtual Dreams into Fields of Vision and performed the same roles for their first commercial release BREATHLESS AGA
Since then Alberto Longo has worked with his development company on promotional PC games for commercial clients including Nestlé and the Carabinieri (Italian Military Police). As demonstrated by his website, he has also taken a special interest in 3D graphics over the years, which can be traced back to his Amiga origins with the commercial development of 3D texture-mapped DOOM clone BREATHLESS.
