TRIVIA: The historical monument you can see on the title photo is the HOLSTENTOR, the official landmark of Lübeck, a city in Northern Germany. After the Slavs had invaded the city in 1138, burning down the city entirely, Lübeck was officially refounded in 1143; then eventually, in 1158, the city was rebuilt from scratch under the patronage of Henry The Lion, where it was forthwith declared the chief city of the Hanseatic League (German name: Hanse), an organization of north German cities established to protect their mutual trading interests.
