Notes: | [1] Licensed game endorsed by legendary L.A. Lakers point guard and NBA 3-time MVP award winner Earvin "Magic" Johnson.
[2] Game design by Ed Ringler. Coding by Chris Oke and John Wilson. Graphics by by Ed Ringler Sr. and Thomas Cardin Jr.
[3] Min. Requirements: KS 1.2, 512k ram.
[4] MAGIC JOHNSON'S MVP was originally released a year earlier in 1989 as OMNI-PLAY BASKETBALL V1.0, but includes both the End-View and Side-View modules plus 1989/90 SBA (SPORTTiME Basketball Association) teams and season statistics.
The Side-View module (previously released as the SIDE-VIEW DISK V1.1 update for OMNI-PLAY BASKETBALL) is built into the main game on disk 2 of MAGIC JOHNSON'S MVP.
The End-View module (built into OMNI-PLAY BASKETBALL, but not MAGIC JOHNSON'S MVP), however, is contained on disk 2 and may be floppy/HD installed from the game's main menu OR launched from WB.
Disk 2 also contains the SIDE-VIEW DISK V1.1 update for OMNI-PLAY BASKETBALL should players prefer to play the original (almost identical albeit unlicensed) release.
[5] Game features savegame support (i.e. the ability to save the current league statistics, set-up and all of its history on a blank disk for future use, but not actual games in progress) and a quit back to WB option from the main menu.
Last known release: V1.1 (29-Nov-90). |
