[3] Initially, ULTRA VIOLENT WORLDS was sold via mail-order only by developer/publisher Vorlon Software upon release in mid-1998.

Interestingly, and probably without Vorlon Software's permission, Alive Mediasoft began selling the game on CD (notably, without the CDDA music tracks) in the latter half of 1999 (see HERE). The game's distribution in the UK was never officially announced on the Alive Mediasoft website nor in any of the print/online Amiga publications or news sites at the time.

[4] Reportedly, a full bug-fixed version of ULTRA VIOLENT WORLDS was re-released in 2000 by Crystal Interactive on dual-format CD (Amiga/PC).

It was more widely distributed than the original release, at least in the UK, where it was apparently available at gaming stores including PC World, Dixons, Electronics Boutique, and Game. Additionally, it doubled as a music album by the game's musician Tim Koch and, supposedly, was sold by independent music/online stores in Europe and Australia. [Source: Amiga Flame, news item, June 2000]

[5] The ULTRA VIOLENT WORLDS game CD contains 11 CDDA soundtracks for your listening pleasure which, along with the in-game music, are available in MP3 format from the musician's now-defunct website HERE. [Source: Tim Koch (old website), courtesy of the Internet Archive]

[6] ULTRA VIOLENT WORLDS (demo) was released on CU Amiga Super CD-ROM #26 (Sept 98), and is available for download HERE. [Source: EAB FTP site]

[9] The original Vorlon release of ULTRA VIOLENT WORLDS when last sold was exclusively distributed by APC&TCP after being unavailable for a handful of years. [Source: APC&TCP announcement (July 2007), courtesy of EAB]
