Notes |
Established in Doncaster, Yorkshire in 1982 by Giles Hunter, an ex-W H Smith newsagent manager. Early 8-bit software releases bore the publisher name CDS Micro Systems until 1985, when they slightly rejigged their moniker to CDS Software. In 1988, just as they were branching out into the 16-bit market, the parent company name changed to Nimrod Holdings with CDS remaining a publishing label. In 1992, the parent company and publishing label reverted back to a single entity in the form of Guildhall Leisure, who in turn renamed themselves in 2002 to Idigicon Ltd. |
